In town visiting my brother and decided to grab linner (or dunch?). Since he's vegetarian and I was on my own today, I sought out bbq.
Service was fantastic. Multiple guys checked on me to make sure I was all set. They even brought me 6 (?) cups of sauce. They come in 1 oz paper cups, but I love sauces so much that I'd have needed extra anyway. The Sweet Pisgah sauce is superb, like drinkable.
Got a burnt ends tray (1/2 lb of meat) and sides of fried okra and mac & cheese. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that everything was amazing. I did my happy mealtime dance like 15 times throughout the meal.
I was alone, so I took half of it to go. I think 1 meat and 2 sides wouldn't be *quite* enough for 2 adults. Probably would need a 3rd side or 2 meats.
I would absolutely recommend this place and definitely will visit again next time I'm in town (or maybe even another time in the week that I'm here lol). - Kala R.

Amazing BBQ. Portions are huge! Staff are all very friendly. Nice casual restaurant. I would definitely come back! Great for your vegetarian friends too.

We have eaten a lot of Texas BBQ and this place hit the spot! We got the ribs, wings, okra and green beans. Everything was excellent!!! Some of the best wings we’ve ever had. Sides could have been a little larger. Overall worth the stop.

Nice chill vibe. Cashier was really nice. Ordered Burnt Brisket Sandwich w/slaw and mac&cheese to try. Everything was delicious. They were out of fried okra, which I really wanted to try and seems popular. Guess I’ll have to come back! The house specialty sweet tea was delicious (with citrus and ginger). They have indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly.

Really enjoyed this place, especially as a vegetarian. The tempeh BBQ sandwich was so good and the closest thing to real BBQ I’ll ever get. Mac and Cheese was pretty good and the hush puppies were awesome. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re ever in the mood for good BBQ in Asheville..

Food here is super good. Service is excellent. Nolan was our server, he was great. Offered us a variety of sauces to try with our various meats. Josh made the best smoked pineapple margarita 🍹 🍍 that I've ever had. Thanks for the great experience!

They were super friendly and accommodating with me and my husband’s food restrictions (allergies and intolerances). They have an allergen menu upon request and an ingredient book for extra comfort. The staff was amazing along with the food. Coming from someone who struggles to eat out, this will definitely be someone I return to. My husband and I greatly appreciate their kindness and hospitality :)

This is my second time eating here while driving through Asheville. The bbq is amazing, the atmosphere is inviting and the staff is very helpful. It’s fun to try all the different sauces. I ordered the combo tray with ribs and brisket macaroni and cheese and potato salad. The ribs were falling off the bone tender and brisket was tender had a great Smokey flavor. Also, the hush puppies are a nice touch. Highly recommend!
