Luella’s very own Proprietor and Pit Boss, Jeff Miller, hopped on a plane headed for the Hard Rock Hotel, Riviera Maya, Mexico. Jeff will be guest chef at Cloud 9 Adventures’ four-day music festival featuring The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, John Prine, The Head and the Heart, Shovels and Rope, and Langhorne Slim and the Law. We love Cloud 9’s motto: Changing the Live Music Experience, Changing the Way You Vacation.
Honors like this come with a little work; Jeff is preparing a barbecue menu for 2000 fans and artists. The beach, the music, the food – too bad it’s sold out!
This is Jeff’s second adventure as a guest chef with Cloud 9 Adventures. Last January, he and Ashley boarded Jam Cruise 15 for a five day musical experience in the Caribbean. Jeff served barbecue deliciousness to nearly 1000 sailors on the last night at sea.

Two Wheels, One Love, engages kids in BMX bike riding, teaching them life skills. The track got a new surface and we got sweaty.
